Appleton alums of the day
Major League: JJ Putz (WI '00), Seattle. Gets the final five outs for the save at Oakland.
Minor League: Brian Kappel (WI '06), High Desert. A scoreless fifteenth and a scoreless sixteenth to pick up a much needed win should count for something.
