Brewers System Report: Games of June 24, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 32-40; National League Central): The Brewers beat Minnesota 5-0. Yovani Gallardo struck out 12 and pitched a complete game shutout. Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder both hit homers for Milwaukee.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 40-34; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 7-0 at Memphis. Doug Davis struck out nine and allowed two hits over five innings in a rehab start for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 35-38 overall; 2-1 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars won 3-2 at Jacksonville. Huntsville scored twice in the top of the eighth to erase a 2-1 deficit. Jim Henderson (’09) pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the save.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 27-43; 0-1 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 3-1 to Lakeland. Cody Scarpetta (’09) struck out 10 over seven innings, but took the loss.

HELENA (Rookie: 4-0; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Missoula 1-0. Four Helena pitchers combined on a ten hit shutout. The Brewers offense had just four hits in the game but won the game to sweep the series from the Osprey.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 3-0; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers were off on Thursday.
