Brewers System Report: Games of June 28, 2010


MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 34-42; National League Central): The Brewers lost 9-5 to Houston. Milwaukee led 5-2 until the Astros scored seven runs over the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings to take the lead.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 42-36; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Round Rock 11-2. Joe Koshansky homered and drove in three for Nashville.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 35-41 overall; 2-4 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Monday.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 29-45; 2-3 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 4-3 to Daytona. Brock Kjeldgaard (’09) drove in a pair of runs early in the game for Brevard County, but the Cubs scored two runs in the top of the ninth for the run.

HELENA (Rookie: 7-1; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Billings 8-7. Helena scored five times in the bottom of the eighth inning to take the lead. Evan Frederickson (’09) got the win with four scoreless innings of relief.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 7-0; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers beat the Giants 8-2. Eric Arnett (’10) struck out all six batters he faced over two innings of work.
