Brewers System Report: Games of June 27, 2010

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 34-41; National League Central): The Brewers beat Seattle 3-0. Rickie Weeks had four hits, including his thirteenth home run of the season. Chris Narveson pitched eight innings and struck out seven.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 41-36; Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds split a pair of games with Round Rock. The Express won the completion of a suspended game from Saturday with a 9-1 score. Nashville won game two 8-5 thanks to home runs by Joe Koshansky and Brendan Katin.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 35-41 overall; 2-4 second half; Southern League North Division): The Stars lost 6-0 at Jacksonville in a game shortened to six innings by rain.

BREVARD COUNTY (Advanced-A: 29-44; 2-2 second half; Florida State League North Division): The Manatees lost 15-7 at Daytona. The Cubs scored seven runs in the first inning. Sean Halton homered later in the game for Brevard County.

HELENA (Rookie: 6-1; Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Great Falls 10-1. Hiram Burgos (’10) struck out nine over 6-1/3 innings for the win.

AZL BREWERS (Rookie: 6-0; Arizona League Central Division): The Brewers topped the Indians 6-3. The Brewers scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth to rally for the win.
