Monday in the MWL

Wisconsin 8, @South Bend 4 -- Maybe you will have better luck finding the write up of last night's game in the South Bend Tribune.

@Lansing 3, Beloit 2 -- The Lugnuts broke the Snappers hearts again. One day after a 17 inning win over Beloit, the Lugnuts scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth on a two-out double by Jake Butler. The Lansing State Journal headline spared us (and himself) by not writing "The Butler Did It!"

@Peoria 3, Burlington 2 -- Scott Taylor was perfect through four innings, but didn't get out of the fifth. Mike Billek got the win for the Chiefs.

@Southwest Michigan 4, Cedar Rapids 2 -- Wade Davis didn't feel well before his start for the Devil Rays. After five scoreless innings, the Kernels wish he had stayed home.

@West Michigan 8, Clinton 2 -- John Mayberry homers for Clinton again. Clinton loses to West Michigan again.

@Dayton 7, Kane County 4 -- Remember that line in Happy Gilmore? "Uh-oh, looks like someone learned to putt?" Looks like the Dragons have learned to pitch.

Quad Cities 6, @ Fort Wayne 5 (11 innings) -- Wizards couldn't hold a 4-1 lead. Randy Roth homers in the top of the eleventh. SWING get the win.
