Mariner System Report (Games of 4/18)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 9-9, 3rd American League West): The Mariners lost 5-4 to the Angels. Richie Sexson hit a pair of home runs and drove in all four Seattle runs, but Torii Hunter robbed Sexson of a home run in the ninth that would have given the M’s the lead.

TACOMA (AAA: 9-6, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 3-2 at Fresno. Jeff Clement (’05) hit a home run in the sixth inning to break a 2-2 tie. Ryan Feierabend (’04) allowed two runs on five hits over eight innings for the win.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 8-7, T-4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx won 5-4 in eleven innings at Mobile. Marshall Hubbard (’05) went 4-for-6 and drove in a run. Mumba Rivera (’05) pitched two scoreless innings for the win. Mark Kiger's RBI single in the eleventh sent Luis Oliveros ('02) home with the go-ahead run.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 10-6, 1st California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 8-4 at Inland Empire. Greg Halman (’07) homered early as the Mavs built an early 4-0 lead. But, the 66ers scored six times in the bottom of the sixth on their way to the comeback win.
