SEATTLE (MAJ: 11-12 3rd American League West): The Mariners lost 8-7 to Baltimore. Adam Jones (’04) went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Orioles.
TACOMA (AAA: 11-8, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 6-3 at Tucson. Jeff Clement (’05) went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI for the Rainiers, who sent the Sidewinders to a record of 3-18.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 13-8, T-2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx won 2-1 at Tennessee. Ron Prettyman hit a home run in the top of the ninth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Jason Mackintosh (’04) got the win with two scoreless innings. Mumba Rivera (’05) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 11-10, T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks won 7-4 in ten innings at Lake Elsinore. Greg Halman (’07) drove in the first of three tenth inning runs to help High Desert end a five game losing streak.
